Times News NetworkPanchkula: Police have apprehended a minor in connection with the double murder case of a man and his brother-in-law. The victims were murdered in Sector 19 over an old rivalry.Four accused were arrested in the case earlier.On July 4, police received information that Sanjeet, a resident of Sector 19, died after being attacked with sharp-edged weapons. A police team traced the crime scene to a vacant area near the CID underpass, where another body was found. The deceased was identified as Arjun alias Cheeta, a resident of Khadak Mangoli. Injury marks on this body also indicated an attack with sharp-edged weapons.In the course of investigations, police arrested a minor on Tuesday and produced him before the Juvenile Justice Board. He has been sent to an observation home under judicial custody.On July 5, three persons — Vipin, Prem Chand, and Sukhpreet Singh alias Lucky, all residents of Abhaypur — were arrested.On July 7, the fourth accused, Rohan Kumar, a resident of Abhaypur village in Sector 19, Panchkula, was arrested. All four have been sent to judicial custody.
