Attempts being made to intimidate family of DM Randhawa, says Jakhar | Chandigarh News
Chandigarh: BJP leader Sunil Jakhar has alleged that the reported disconnection of electricity at the residence of Warehousing Corporation DM Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, along with the presence of suspicious individuals near the house, was an attempt to intimidate the family. In a message shared on social media, Jakhar raised sharp questions to chief minister Bhagwant Mann. “Chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann ji, all this is happening under your govt. Has your govt fallen to such a level? Is there even a little morality left? Earlier, your minister mentally harassed DM Gagandeep Singh to such an extent that he was forced to commit suicide, and now under your rule, what kind of tactics are being used to break a family that is fighting for justice? Perhaps that is why the govt has not yet provided security to the family nor ordered a CBI inquiry. Attempts are being made to intimidate the family with the backing of the govt. BJP strongly condemns such actions,” he posted. He said this was why a CBI investigation into the case was necessary, and entire Punjab was demanding it. Jakhar added that the family should not feel alone, as the BJP and the people of Punjab stand with them. He further remarked that those in Delhi guiding the chief minister may not understand what Punjabis are made of. MSID:: 129864534 413 |
