Principal suspended over anti-BJP protest to be reinstated

Mahendragarh: The Punjab and Haryana high court has stayed the suspension of a govt school principal in Haryana’s Mahendragarh district, who was penalised after students staged protests linked to the NEET paper leak controversy outside the school and raised slogans against the governing BJP.Naresh Kumar, principal, Government Senior Secondary School, Kanina Mandi, had challenged his July 19 suspension ordered by the Narnaul district education officer.Following the high court’s interim stay order, the directorate of school education has directed the DEO to immediately restore Kumar to his post and submit a compliance report. The next hearing is on Feb 10.
